Myo Music
Strong Mouths. Confident Kids.
Myofunctional therapy for three-, four- and five-year-olds, built around music.
Who Myo Music is for
Children roughly three to five — old enough to copy what you do, too young to sit through a list of exercises.
Parents usually come to me having noticed one of these: a mouth that hangs open at rest or during sleep, snoring or noisy breathing, a thumb or finger or pacifier habit that hasn't stopped, a child still on a sippy cup or bottle, messy or slow eating, or a dentist who has mentioned a tongue tie.
What I work on is the same at every age: tongue position, lip seal and nasal breathing. The benefits that come from those will come.
Why music
I have spent years working with preschool-age children, and this age learns through rhythm and repetition.
A beat makes a movement repeatable. A melody makes it stick. A song carries the new pattern home without it ever feeling like homework, and the connections children make that way hold.
So Myo Music runs on songs, rhythm and functional play rather than instruction. A three-year-old will not do ten reps because I asked. She will do ten reps because the song has ten in it.
Let's make Myo fun at this stage.
What a session looks like
Four to six sessions, one a week to start, in person or online. A parent stays in the room — you are the one who will be running the songs at home, so you learn them with your child.
We work at the pace your child gives us. Some days that is the full plan and some days it is one exercise and a lot of silliness, and both of those are progress at this age.
Between sessions
What happens between appointments is what decides whether any of this holds. So the practice goes home as short videos your child can follow without you having to teach them anything.
Every video runs the same five steps, so a child knows what is coming and settles into it.
1 · Welcome — "Hi friend! Let's do some myo!"
2 · Exercise — "Let's build strong, flexible lips!"
3 · Countdown — "Get ready... Here we go!"
4 · Do it — "Great job! Keep it up!"
5 · Well done — "Way to go! Stronger every day!"

What it costs
Myo Music is $1,080 for four to six sessions.
Everyone starts with a full functional evaluation at $150, and $100 of that is credited back if you go ahead with a program within two weeks. Paying in full takes $100 off.
If a thumb, finger or pacifier habit is part of the picture, Myo Music + Habit Heroes adds four more sessions for $1,800 in total.
